Australia's La Suisse Skincare announces the first complete retail facial skincare based on Swiss Apple Stem Cell Culture, PhytoCellTec Malus Domestica
Australian Spa Treatment supplier, Victoria's Essentials has recently announced the release of their first complete line of fine skincare containing the Swiss Apple Stem Cell Culture, PhytoCellTec Malus Domestica.
VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, August 21, 2011 /Beauty PR News/ -- Australian Spa Treatment supplier, Victoria's Essentials has recently announced the release of their first complete line of fine skincare containing the Swiss Apple Stem Cell Culture, PhytoCellTec Malus Domestica.
Jeffrey Slater, co-founder of Victoria's Essentials said "In formulating our first retail range we spent twelve months on a journey to create the perfect facial product range. We started with a clean slate and an open mind, exploring the World for the latest technology in advanced skincare."
"It was an exciting time for us as we discovered exciting and interesting technologies in skin science particularly in the areas of plant stem cell cultures and the use of amino peptides. Our journey took us to Swiss Lab, Mibelle Biochemistry where Phytoscientists have discovered a host of plant stem cells responsible for the preservation of plants that survive in the World's harshest climates."
Swiss Scientists discovered and isolated the stem cells in certain plants including the rare Uttwiler Spätlauber Apple, Alpine Rose and Edelweiss with the ability to strengthen and rebuild the skin's own stem cells.
"We discovered that Stem Cells were like tools in a tool box. Each stem cell had a unique job to do including cells that reduced wrinkles, cells that protected against environmental stress and others that firmed the skin." Slater added.
But how do stem cells work with human skin stem cells?
Simply, epidermal or skin stem cells are responsible for replenishing and maintaining the balance of cells within the skin tissue and regenerate tissue damages during injury. As we age, the number of skin stem cells decreases and their ability to repair the skin becomes less efficient.
Scientists have found that in contrast to human cells, plant cells have the ability to regenerate new organs (leaves, flower, seed...) or even the whole plant. All stem cells, independently of their origin (plant, animal or human) contain specific epigenetic factors whose function is to maintain the self-renewal capacity of stem cells.
The exciting news came from extensive testing demonstrating that Malus Domestica stem cell extract had a positive effect on stem cell growth thus maintaining the growth and the proliferative activity of human skin stem cells.
In fact, the anti-wrinkle effect of Malus Domestica was evaluated in a study with 20 volunteers aged from 37 to 64. An emulsion containing only 2 % of PhytoCellTec Malus Domestica was applied twice daily for 28 days to the crow's feet. Wrinkle depth was determined by means of PRIMOS (phase-shifting rapid in vivo measurement of skin). Results showed a significant and visible decrease in wrinkle depth for 100 % of the subjects.
Slater adds, "After analysing the testing results, we made the move to embrace the phyto stem cell and make it a key ingredient in the La Suisse Retail Range. However we didn't want to rely solely on stem cells. To formulate the perfect range we chose the most effective peptides based upon each of their unique characteristics including wrinkle reduction and collagen strengthening."
La Suisse will follow the Botanical principles that have made Victoria's Essentials Australia's leading natural spa treatment formulator by featuring a host of active botanicals and extracts including the rare Golden Caviar Extract, one of nature's most exclusive forms of moisturising and skin nourishment.
La Suisse Skincare's line of retail products will include a Cleansing Gel, Eye Serum, Facial Serum and Day Crème, all rich in a host of Peptides, Apple Stem Cell Culture, Caviar Extract and Botanicals.
Slater concluded, "The last stop on our journey towards perfection in skincare was to bring this high-end skincare line at an ethical price. We believe everyone should be able to have access to ultra-fine skincare products at realistic pricing."
